UCSF’s Office of Sustainability identified climate justice as a core theme for fiscal year 2020–21. With a goal of mobilizing the UCSF community to take action on climate change, programming aimed to build awareness of the connections between health, climate change and environmental justice. The theme encouraged UCSF departments and affiliates to host 13 events that attracted over 10,000 participants across UC.
